RM.- For a Social Miner, the slowest part of a featured post was never the engagement itself. It was everything that came after — copy the link, submit it, spend a credit, and wait for an admin to score it. A new release on DAO Labs and Cafè Barbera Hub removes that entire step for scheduled featured posts. You engage on X, and the hub finds you and credits your Rewards on its own.

What actually changed

When a scheduled post's engagement window closes, the hub reads that post's retweets, comments and quotes directly from X and credits every miner it recognizes — usually within a minute or two. No link to submit. No credit to spend. The Rewards simply arrive.

How it works for you

  • The post goes live, and its card counts down to the scan — so you always know when your Rewards will land.

  • You engage on X while the window is open. The default window is two minutes.

  • About 45 seconds after it closes, the hub reads the post's retweets, comments and quotes from X.

  • Everyone it finds is credited — each at the boost of the exact second they engaged on X, not when the scan runs.

  • A second scan runs five minutes later to pick up anything X was slow to show.

Rewards arrive with the familiar cash-register sound, and the card shows the breakdown — for example, Retweet +10, Comment +8, Quote +8. If you are on another tab when they land, the sound rings once when you come back.

It costs nothing, and your link is optional

Scheduled posts never cost a credit, for any kind of engagement. Submitting your link is now optional — if you do, the hub still checks it on X before paying, so it is there as a backup rather than a requirement.

Timing is judged on when you engaged on X, counted from the moment the post went live in the hub — not on when the scan runs or when a link was sent. Anything posted before go-live does not count. The post also stays open after the scan, so later engagements are still credited from a submitted link or the Retweet button, each at the boost of its own moment.

Retweets now count on featured posts

Retweets are now a first-class engagement on featured posts, with their own Rewards setting. One change is worth knowing: a featured retweet now has its own base value, so a retweet at ×5 is worth 10 rather than the 25 it used to be. The new setup lets each featured post tune retweet Rewards without touching ordinary marketplace retweets. Here is how featured engagements are paid:

  • Retweet on a featured post — Featured Retweet Points × boost (for example, 2 × 5 = 10).

  • Comment or quote on a featured post — base engagement value × boost, plus quality points (for example, 1 × 5 + 3 = 8).

Once the last boost tier passes, comments and quotes still earn their quality points, but a retweet would earn nothing — so the Retweet button simply switches off.

Who qualifies

The scan only credits miners who could have engaged through the hub themselves, so the same access rules apply to retweets, comments and quotes:

  • You need access to the task marketplace, as with any other task there.

  • You must pass the project's featured rule — a minimum Wallchain score or follower count, set per project by admins (for example, 500 followers).

  • Only the X account you connected to the hub counts. It is matched by X's own account number, not your @handle, so a renamed or borrowed handle cannot claim your engagement.

  • The daily retweet and quote safety limit still applies, and a retweet removed within 24 hours loses its Rewards.

One honest limit

X shows only the newest 200 retweeters of a post, and replies from protected accounts are invisible to it. On a very large post, the scan can miss someone. If that happens, you can still submit your link and get paid in exactly the same way.

For admins

Admins get new controls alongside this — per-post switches for comments, quotes and retweets that update live, even while a post is running; an "On X" analytics card on every featured post with X's own numbers and a breakdown of who engaged, including a registered-miners chart and CSV exports; a dedicated Featured Retweet Points setting; and a scan panel with a Scan now button.

Why this matters for Social Miners

Social Mining works best when the distance between doing the work and seeing the Reward is short. This release shortens that distance to about a minute, removes the credit cost, and makes the process fairer — your boost is locked to the moment you are actually engaged, and the hub does the chasing instead of you. Both DAO Labs and Cafè Barbera Hub receive it at the same time, each in its own look.
