The brief
Requirements
Invite only: Selected participants onlyHello Elite Writers! Welcome to the dark side of Social Mining School! π§ β‘ A top-tier Business Development (BD) scout doesn't just know how to find a good project; they know how to spot a scam from a mile away.
In Part 2 of this challenge, we want you to tear down terrible tokenomics and separate the cash grabs from the real Web3 ecosystem. If you want to think like a VC or an elite trader, you need to know what to avoid.
π Timeline:
Feb 27 - March 09 (UTC 23:59)
βοΈ Procedure & Requirements
1. The Hunt: Go to the CryptoRank Upcoming ICO/IDO/IEO list: https://cryptorank.io/upcoming-ico Scout the list and select 1 of the WORST projects (massive red flags, terrible tokenomics, no utility, predatory vesting).
2. The Format: Write a comprehensive, professional LinkedIn Article explaining exactly why this project is destined to fail. (Use the "Write article" feature on LinkedIn). Important: Your analysis must be based on brutal, factual investigation and hard data. We want real critiques, not just blind hate!
3. The Visuals: Design an original Infographic or Table to include in your article. This visual must clearly expose the project's worst metrics (e.g., massive insider unlocks, high initial MC) based on the framework below.
π The BD Review Framework (Mandatory Analysis Points) You must critically tear down your chosen project using this exact same professional framework:
I. Investors & Fundamentals
Evaluation: Is the evaluation absurdly high for a project with no product?
Evaluation of Rounds: Are there massive, unjustified price gaps where early insiders dump on retail?
Token Incentives: Are they just using bots to farm engagement?
Existing MVP: Do they actually have a working product, or is it just empty promises?
Team: Are they anonymous, or do they have a history of rug pulls?
Ecosystem & Partners: Do they have any real utility partnerships, or just fake logos on their website?
II. Tokenomics (The Core Test)
Pools: Are there shady OTC or insider deals? Is the team taking an unfair percentage?
TGE Unlock: Is there a massive dump planned exactly when the token goes live?
Cliff & Vesting (Unlocks): Look at the vesting schedule. Are the founders unlocking their bags way too early? Who is getting rich, and why?
III. Go-to-Market Strategy
Initial Market Cap (MC) & Liquidity: Is the initial MC too high with terrible liquidity?
Treasury: Is the treasury entirely controlled by early investors looking for exit liquidity?
Token Inflation: Are they printing tokens out of thin air with no burn mechanisms?
